Coaching

Coaching

Direct work with Art — one-to-one and small group — for people ready to change the expectations that are shaping their lives.

Who this is for

This work is for the person who has read enough, journaled enough, and thought about their patterns enough to know that thinking is no longer the answer. It is for the anxious planner who cannot turn the planning off. The high performer who keeps hitting the same ceiling. The parent who knows the way they are showing up is not the way they want to. The executive whose team mirrors something the executive does not like in themselves. The couple who have run out of vocabulary for the same fight.

It is not for people looking for affirmations or quick reframes. The work is precise, sometimes uncomfortable, and durable. If that is what you are looking for, you are in the right place.

How the work is structured

Five formats

12-week cycles · 60 min sessions

01

One-to-one coaching

Private engagements, scheduled in 12-week cycles. Sessions are 60 minutes, weekly or biweekly depending on the work. The first cycle is structured around mapping the operative expectations across the four pillars where they live in your life — relationships, work, self, and body. Subsequent cycles go deeper into the patterns that surface.
This format is for individuals who want focused, confidential work and are willing to do the between-session practice that turns insight into change.

12 weeks · 75 min sessions

02

Couples coaching

Twelve-week engagements for couples ready to identify and renegotiate the expectations they have been carrying privately. Sessions are 75 minutes. The work is structured, not free-form — we are building a shared vocabulary, not relitigating the past.
This is not crisis intervention. Couples in active crisis should engage a licensed therapist first; this work is most effective for couples who are functional but stuck.

8–12 weeks

03

Family / parent coaching

For parents working on the expectations they hold for their children — and the expectations they hold for themselves as parents. Engagements are typically 8 to 12 weeks, with sessions structured around the specific developmental and behavioral context of the family.

Cohorts of 6–8 · 12 weeks

04

Small group coaching

Cohorts of 6 to 8 people who move through the Five Pillars together over twelve weeks. Weekly 90-minute sessions, plus a private cohort space for between-session practice. The group format adds something one-to-one cannot — the experience of watching other people’s expectations get named, which often surfaces your own faster than working alone.
Cohorts run several times a year. New cohorts are announced to the journal subscriber list first.

3–6 month engagements

05

Corporate & team coaching

Custom engagements for leadership teams, executive groups, and intact departments. Typically structured as a workshop kickoff followed by ongoing coaching over three to six months. See the Leaders track for detail.

What working with me looks like

The work is structured around four movements, repeated as new material surfaces. First, we listen for the operative expectation. Second, we surface it — the one actually driving the behavior, not the one you think is. Third, we audit it: where it came from, what it has cost you, what it has protected you from. Fourth, we rebuild: what a more accurate expectation would be, and what acting from it looks like in the next conversation, the next decision, the next ten minutes.

I do not give homework for the sake of homework. I do give between-session practice, because the framework does not work without it. If you are not willing to practice between sessions, this is not the right work for you.

Investment

One-to-one coaching engagements start at a 12-week commitment. Couples and family engagements are scoped to the work. Small group cohorts are priced per cohort and announced when enrollment opens. Corporate engagements are quoted based on scope.

Specifics are shared after a brief application call so we can confirm fit before we discuss money.
